The affordable housing lottery is open for 2317 Cambreleng Avenue, an eight-story mixed-use development in the Bronx’s Belmont neighborhood. Developed by Stagg Group and designed by WMW Architects, the 50-unit building will yield 53,775 square feet with half of the units designated as affordable housing. Available on NYC Housing Connect are a mix of studios, one-, and two-bedroom units for residents at 120 percent of the area median income, ranging in eligible income from $56,572 to $147,360.
Residential amenities include a large lobby, indoor and outdoor recreation spaces, a shared laundry room, security cameras, bicycle storage, and parking for five vehicles. Units will have energy-efficient appliances and hardwood floors. There will also be 7,528 square feet of community facility space on the first and second floors.
At 120 percent of the AMI, there are eight affordable studios with a $1,650 monthly rent for incomes ranging from $56,572 to $109,200; 14 one-bedrooms with a $1,750 monthly rent for incomes ranging from $60,000 to $122,880; and three two-bedrooms with a $2,000 monthly rent for incomes ranging from $68,572 to $147,360.
Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than March 2, 2021.
